To be the premier association empowering, connecting, and advocating for a strong, sustainable, and innovative building materials supply sector in West Virginia, contributing significantly to the state's economic prosperity and quality of life.

How We Fulfill Our Mission

Objectives of the Builders Supply Association of WV

  1. TO SPEAK with a single, strong, resolute voice to all levels of our governments, including local, state, federal, and their various agencies.
  2. TO PROMOTE the general sale and expanded use of the industry’s products and services.
  3. TO CONTINUALLY train and instruct the member personnel at all levels in product knowledge, basic skills, management techniques, and improved marketing methods through seminars, clinics, workshops and conferences.
  4. TO COLLECT AND DESSIMINATE desired information relating to marketing, credit, operating, finance, and distribution of other primary facets of the industry’s business.
  5. TO WORK with members, educational institutions, other federated or national associations, or other interested organizations to establish and maintain satisfactory standards of product quality and performance.
  6. TO SERVE as a clearinghouse for solving problems of mutual interest to members of the industry and allied industries.
  7. TO ACT as public relations counsel for the industry’s affairs and interests.
  8. TO PROMOTE the personal acquaintances of members to learn from each other through social as well as business involvement.
  9. TO PROMOTE high standards to business ethics among the industry’s members in order to increase its prestige in the business community as well as those whom it serves.
  10. TO collectively and individually stand up for our country and its leaders through sincere interest and responsible involvement in its affairs.
